Brushed Nickel Rectangular Mirror

Rectangular mirrors carry a very pertinent role in the home.  In one minute, they may reflect the beauty of whoever is looking into it, and at other times, they contribute to a room’s appeal.  A rectangular mirror’s frame usually displays artwork, which becomes the owner’s reflection.  Brushed nickel rectangular mirrors have become home favorites because of the elegance that they exude beyond their simplicity.  Having been staples in foyers and living rooms, they have now gained more room space in bedrooms and bathrooms.  The following are a few choices that may be suitable for your homes.

Large rectangular rectangular mirrors are great choices for your foyer.  The design is simple and very flexible.  In case a homemaker decides to change the look and feel of their home, they would not have a hard time finding other pieces that would complement other design elements.  This rectangular mirror can go well with a modern or a more flamboyant theme.  If the homeowner wishes for the latter feel, sidelights or sconces can be used as embellishments, or a striking floral arrangement for a more fluid look.

Oval rectangular mirrors are also very common.  They denote a princess theme due to their parts in famous fairy tales.  Although this particular type dominates movie scenes involving witchcraft and other supernatural stuff, the image that they represent includes a fairy tale backdrop – remember that Snow White villain?  They can be good for bedrooms right at the vanity corner.  A moderately sized elliptical rectangular mirror does not take up much wall space yet provides you with a full reflection when you are standing at the right distance.  There is this certain sense of femininity with the soft borders of an oval compared to a rectangular type because the angles signify a strong aura.  Truly fit for a princess getting ready for the prom.

A wall mounted magnifying round rectangular mirror may be a good choice for the bathroom, especially those with limited spaces.  If this is the case, this leaves not enough room for a vanity area.  An adjustable rectangular mirror screwed to the wall is just perfect for confined spaces.  You only have to pull it out when in use and slide it right back at the wall when you area done.  And because of its magnifying capability, it could signal you when to pay your dermatologist a visit for those nasty whiteheads.

The above listed types are some common designs which could give you an idea on how to execute the concept in your mind without settling for a compromised look.  A brushed nickel rectangular mirror frame in an art deco inspired room may not seem fit, but with the proper accessorizing, you can surely pull this one off.

Installing a Rectangular Vanity Mirror

One of the easiest ways to breathe new life into your bathroom is to replace your tired, old mirror with a brand new mirror complete with decorative frosting or a frame. Most rectangular bathroom mirrors that you buy new from a home improvement or furniture store will have hanging equipment and instructions. To be sure, check with the sales person before you buy your rectangular mirror. Finding your new mirror at a garage sale or flea market can be an exciting treasure hunt, but the mirror will not usually come with installation instructions or equipment. You can purchase a kit with hanging clips for a frameless mirror or a picture hanging kit for a framed mirror at any hardware store. Hanging a Vanity Mirror with a Frame • When you purchase your picture hanging kit, make sure that it can hold at least 100 pounds. • Attach picture wire to the frame of your rectangular mirror. Your kit will come either with eye or regular screws around which you loop and knot the wire. Make sure it’s secure and will support the weight of your rectangular mirror before you hang it. • With a very heavy mirror or a thin wall, you’ll need molly screws to help hang your mirror. Using multiple picture hooks can help to distribute weight as well. • Mark the top two edges and the top center of your vanity mirror on the wall. Pull the picture wire as far up the mirror as you can and measure from the top of the vanity mirror to the high point on the wire. Measure down from your center mark on the wall to that point and make a mark for your hook. When using two or more hooks, you’ll have to pull the wire up in two points in between the vanity mirror’s top center and top edges at the same time and mark the wall accordingly. • Mount your picture hooks and hang your mirror. It might take a couple tries to level your new bathroom mirror. Hanging a Vanity Mirror without a Frame • Measure your rectangular mirror. Find where the center of your vanity mirror and top and bottom edges would be on the wall. About six inches in from each edge is typically where you’ll be attaching your clips for a rectangular mirror. For oval or circular mirrors, the rule stays the same, but it’s six inches in, following the outside edge of the circle, to support the mirror. • Attach the bottom two clips first if they screw in. You can install spring-loaded clips all at once, if you have those instead. Put foam bumpers to protect your vanity mirror at least six inches inside the edge of the mirror. • Rest the mirror on the bottom two clips and center. Screw in your top clips or hook your spring-loaded clips to your rectangular vanity mirror. Stand back and admire your handiwork.

Bathroom Tile color opinion.?

I ordered the vanity for my daughter’s bathroom, it looks like this http://www.hayneedle.com/furniture/bathroom-furniture/bathroom-vanities_kentvanitysink.cfm?source=channel_intelligence_thefind&srccode=cii_22032207&cpncode=23-122660299-2
and the permit gets filed on Tuesday.

We just need to order the tiles and fixtures.
Can you give me your opinion? White beveled subway tiles with dark gray marble floors, or mahogany brown large rectangular floors with matching size walls in beige tile? I was thinking of adding a glass border for accent, the tile store lady told me to put it up high, one right below the last cut of tiles as opposed to between the faucet and mirror.

Do I still stick with the white toilets and bathtub?

PLEASE help!

Thanks

What's my face shape?!?

I can’t figure out my face shape- I’ve heard a million different things-rectangular, square, oval, heart… The edges of my face from my forhead to an inch or 2 below my ears is basically a straight line… it kind of curves outward when it reaches my cheekbones (meaning my cheekbones are wider.) when I’m facing straight forward, it appears the edges of my face round to a more narrow chin, but when I turn my head to the side, the edges that connect where my chin starts and where my cheekbones end is like a diagonal line. Plus, the closer I get to the mirror, the more it appears that my forehead, cheekbones, and chin are closely equal in width. I really can’t figure this out!

Dreamm mmmmmmm mmmmmmm ?

There were so many scrambles. What I remember is being in a slinder rectangular room. I was behind a bar type of separation. There was a television and my mom
ad dad was watching it ( like always) I threw
water on it and it broke but they got upset
so I fixed it. Then I was behind the counter and everybody couldn’t move. We were planted right where we were. I remember having my face close to my mothers talking away like it was normal. The next thing I remember was walking up these stairs, which the stairs were outside. I see this guy who looks confused, I ask him if he needs help and he does. He was headed somewhere, but he needed to go east… and he went west. I told him it was dangerous that way and that he shouldn’t go out at night. I began to climb the stairs again and a
black woman asked for help. I can’t remember what it was about but afterward I remember she praised me with a few
important words. Ok so now I’m inside a mental hospital. I’m on this ward that I apparently work on or are interning on…., I leave that floor and end up on another floor where I see someone in a wheelchair and the place felt so organized in reality. I loved this floor! Absolutely!I talked to a doctor whom was built and he said I could work here if I wanted too. I took off my hat and bent down to look at my reflection in a mirror. I thought they were laughing at me bc I was vain, but really I’m not, I was fixing my hair at the time. One doc woman looked at my hair line and asked if I had a fracture previously that messed with my hair line and I said yes, lying.

What should I do with this bathroom?

I just moved into a new condo. Had no trouble decorating the hall bathroom, but the master bath is a little…weird. It has a white, marble counter; chrome fixtures; an art deco/hotel styled, rectangular, arc, baby green light above a very large wall mounted mirror; and the floor is a dark brown, wood floor. I have no idea what to do with this color scheme. I do have a lot of counter space in there so I could -perhaps- put a nice vase or glass decoration there.

Creative decorating ideas (under a budget)?

ok I’m 19 I am moving to a single apartment..
I need some help with decorating, and I’m on a budget.
It has a kitchen area and a some space ahead of it.
It is covered with a carpet http://www.oldgincarpets.com/images/item… here is the color a bit darker though) I can’t change it or damage it. (I know it’s a gloomy color but we’ll work for it.)
the walls and everything else is white. The kitchen table is attached and is marbelish color same shade as the carpet. The doors for walk in closet is wooden(it comes with the apartment.)

I have a wooden rectangular coffee table table table with designed drawers under it.
I have a mirror and a drawers under, a small worderobe with a mirror on both doors, a bookshelf with drawers under. a computer table, a printer, and a laptop. I also have a wooden smaller table for the tv but I just got a widescreen tv hanging from cealing. and put a nice vase in ther (but didn’t feel it in.
I also have couple of framed pictures/painting (most of them are small and black and white)

I am on a budget, so can’t spent more than 100$

What do you think of the beginning of my story ( ages 18 and older) ?

Boyd bowed on the edge of the basin, naked under the white light of the bathroom lamp. He rested his elbows on his knees as his eyes darted through the last pages of a hard covered book. His skin was paler at the neck and arms. He got to his feet with his eyes fixated over the book and stopped at the rectangular mirror, resting on the brown tiled wall.

He placed the book on the washing machine and looked at his reflection in the mirror. Slowly, he placed a hand at his bright brown nibble and then after rubbing it, ran a finger gently over it.

His penis erected and he pranced to the water sink. After applying some soap to his left hand, he stroked the head of his penis so fiercely. For a few seconds, he could feel the sperm dashing up his penis and out it spurted, giving him the monumental pleasure that vanished instantly as if God Knew that pleasure was bad for humans and that’s why he made you feel that guilt right after doing anything that made you happy; The dilemma of happiness.

After putting on his blue tee shirt with white school printing on it and his black jacket, he filled up his white mug with hot water, snatched half a pound from the ashtray beside the main door and headed down the stairs, singing a lamentation of death and sorrow which he heard yesterday, to himself.

Some water spluttered out of the mug as he climbed up the few steps that led into the supermarket. In front of those three steps, Boyd usually checked his reflection in the glass windshield of a hamburger restaurant that opened for just two weeks.

Boxes of unopened liquid soap spread down the pathway that led to the glass door of the supermarket. In this small pathway, the delivery boys of the supermarket sat down every evening to have their meals and left the remains of the food sprinkled over journal papers.

A tall man dressed in a red training suit rested over the glass door with his fatty shoulder. He beamed at Boyd. “Hello, Mr. Boyd. How are you?” He shook his hands and Boyd went into the supermarket, raising up his cheeks in a forced smile and holding the mug of hot water away from his chest.

The tall man’s name was Jackson. He was the youngest of the two brother owners of this supermarket which was called “Nice morning” He had green eyes and yellowish beard and eyebrows.

Boyd took a packet of Nescafe from the shelf of tea and coffee and after placing the packet between his teeth, he offered Jackson the half pound.

Jackson took it smiling then placed it in the counter.

“Bye, Mr. Jackson” Boyd said, cutting the head of the packet and adding the coffee beans over the mug of hot water then stirring with his finger.

“This book,” Jackson said, “I read it and I wanted you to read it. It’s called the hereafter is reality” he spoke the name of the book in a louder tone. “It’s a religious book. I know you wouldn’t be interested, but I just wanted you to read it.”

Boyd nodded, smiling at him. “Sure, where is it?”

Jackson walked from behind the counter in front of which a big table filled with all kind of sweeties with colorful wrappings stood. “It’s with my niece. I will get it from her today. Pass by after school and I’d have gotten it from her.”

“Fine,” Boyd said, waving at Jackson, “I’ll come after school,”

The smiled vanished off Boyd’s face the moment he left the supermarket. He wasn’t interested in reading religious books, especially from Jackson. He made him feel like an atheist most of the time.

He couldn’t forget that day when Jackson insisted that Boyd should join him to pray at the church behind the supermarket. Boyd didn’t want to go and he had to lie to him. He told him that his father was sick and he had to go buy him some coughing syrup from the pharmacy. Jackson started reciting some verses from the bible in which God mentions the rewards of those who pray and headed alone to the church. Since then Boyd avoided any kind of religious talk with Jackson.
